unable to install or view pages on server

I have a web server configured. I developed a project locally and I
want that to be deployed on the server. I have created a web setup
Project and got the .msi file. How do I install the application on the
server. I do not have any database connection as of now... When I just
copied the .aspx files to the server then I receive some messages like
in web.config and so on..
I changed the mode to 'Off' in the web.config file.
What else I need to do???
Please let me know from the scratch???
