Unable to run xPetstore with JBoss 3.2.3

When I try to run xPetstore, the following Exception is thrown:

java.sql.SQLException: ERROR: Relation 't_counter' does not exist.

I'm not surprised about this exception because this table does not
exist but I've already read in a posted message, that the tables are
created automatically. But who does create them? Or could it be a
problem with one of the xml-files you have to set up? Unfortunately,
the "Running xPetstore" section of xpetstore.sourceforge.net doesn't
seem to fit with the file and directory structure of JBoss 3.2.3.

I'm thankful for any help!
