I have a very straightforward/simple file uploading process in my
ASP.NET web app. On my local machine (XP Pro) I'm able to upload
seemingly any type of file (I've tested .doc, .xls, .txt, .htm, .dat).
However, on our production server (2003 Server) it will accept
everything EXCEPT .dat files. No error or anything, it just doesn't
upload the .dat's.
Has anyone seen this behavior before? I know that it's possible to
restrict file types in the code, but is there an IIS security setting
that I could be hitting here?
Thanks in advance for any help!
