    Greetings for the day!



    We have a very urgent opening with one of our direct clients at New
    York. Below are the details.





    Job Title: Programmer Analyst II

    Location: New York

    Rate: Negotiable

    Duration: 7 Months

    Job Type: Contract











    Job Description:



    The scope of services is to define and deliver an IT solution for the
    DIIT. From the project management aspect, this includes creating a
    project plan, business analysis (to document the current process and
    re-engineer the proposed system), collecting and documenting
    functional requirements from subject matter experts. Application
    development services will include application design and development,
    and external system integration.



    Overview of Project:



    This project will deliver all phases involved in implementing this new
    application which includes, planning, development, implementation and
    deployment. The specific deliverables will include but not be limited
    to, writing, compiling and/or indexing a variety of documents, as well
    as application development (applicable for Programmer Analysts II),



    Programmer Analyst II:



    1. Technical Specification document – document application
    architecture and design, database and data model design.



    2. Application Development – Development of all parts of the
    application that is intended to automate the Administrative tribunal
    business processes including external system integration, and reports
    creation.







    MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:



    · At least 4 years documented hands on experience in
    application development.



    · A Baccalaureate degree in computer science (or the
    equivalent) from an accredited college and four years of experience
    with computer applications programming, systems programming, computer
    systems development.

    · Candidate should be versed, at an expert level, with the
    following concepts/ technologies:



    · Languages: Java/.jsp, JavaScript, Frameworks: Struts, Tiles,
    relational



    · Database management systems: SQL Server 2000 or 2005.



    · IDE: Eclipse.



    · The candidate will also be responsible for reviewing and
    developing detailed system specifications and modifying existing
    applications to accommodate changing business needs.







    DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:



    Familiarity with screen scrapping and SOA architecture.


    Prior experience developing and managing complex data systems.


    Knowledge of web technologies like XML, WDK and/or DFC 5 of
    Documentum.


    Experience in using data messaging tools.


    The consultant must have excellent communication skills and be capable
    of creating diagrams where necessary in Visio.
