How much does everyone hear earn?

Or rather than revealing your own salaries, how much would a seriously good
designer (flash, 3d, photoshop) - top guy... how much would he expect to
earn in the USA.

I know a europpean whose been offered a job in the USA, hes very good (head
hunted) but neither of us have any idea how much a good US salary would be.

A good graphics designer will pull in about 80K+ in Atlanta Out of
college 40k-60k depending how lucky you are.

Hmm... but of course, that means nothing without an idea of the cost of
living...

blah. Between us we pull about $65,000 (US), which is just enough to
live off comfortably. That's between two of us working full time and
pulling in freelance work on the side (Edinburgh, Scotland). No time to
live or sleep.

"Webmaster"-a catch-all bucket for html, flash, graphics, and, oh yeah,
the twice yearly print newsletter for a single department of a major
university in the American midwest will make between USD 30K and 70K.

Family of three, 1) high-school senior, 2) university webmaster/graphic
artist, 3) programmer/data manipulator in private industry. Gross
slightly over USD 100K collectively. Medical benefits from both jobs
mean no worries.

Not enough to live well in the (grossly overpriced) college town, but
quite comfortable living in a nearby small town, even considering high
property taxes, and the cost of commuting. Some savings, a few tight
months when s**t happens, but not up to our eyeballs in hock either. All
in all, life is good.

Hope that helps.

Which is why I included the city. The op is capable of looking up
cost of living figures.
