It seems that it's not possible to have nested .Net web applications
(application in a virtual directory under another asp.net application) having
each application it's own configuration for the Entlib 2.0 Logging block.
The only way to get it working is to configure the logging block for both
applications in the main application. So the child applications inherit the
settings off the top application. This means when a child application is
added the web.config of the main application has to be configured.
It seams there is no way to clear the settings of the parent configuration
and when yo try this you get errors about the configuration.
So what I would like is:
- An ASP.Net Application with it's own Logging configuration
- A child application ignoring the logging configuration of the parent
application and set it's own configuration.
Is there somebody who has done this?
