Using j/script to override domain specific cookies?

    Could someone comment on this solution to overcome cookies being specific
    to individaul domains:

    http://www.pathlore.com/customer/support/tech_tip_may2003.asp

    Simply write another domain cookie to your domain via a js include file
    which gives you access to Domain X cookie....

    It seems ridicolously painless and simple compared to response.redirect
    methods.

    Be interested in your views.
