Using theme like concept for WebApplication

Hi All,


My requirement is , is it possible to develop theme based webapps to
change the layouts and backgrounds with any java technologies or Ajax.

i want to develop page like, Google's customize homepage where i can
drag and drop the contents or even delete them?

Pl. help me if anyone have idea regarding this.
