In a table, Sys_Variables, a system defines a field mask for a certain
field, in this case, an inventory tag. The field mask is in the format of
99999, which signifies that there are 5 characters allowed in the value. I
know how to select the record from the recordset, however, I'm not sure the
best way to check that the value entered has the correct number of
characters. Any help would be appreciated.
