Version history?

    Is there a standard format for recording version history changes
    internal to a Java program, or does everyone just trust the CVS logs?

    I'd find it useful to see date, who, package version number, and what
    changed.

    You don't really want all this in JavaDoc. Usually it is of interest
    only to people looking at the source code.
