Vertical position of text within a table is not identical

Unfortunately in Internet Explorer the vertical position of the text 'ABC'
is not identical.

<td>
<input type = "checkbox"> ABC
</td>

<td>
<input type = "text"> ABC
</td>

<td>
ABC
</td>
</tr>
</table>

What do I have to do to have all three texts 'ABC' on the same vertical
position?
