    hey all,

    http://www25.brinkster.com/rodchar/sm.htm

see the First Name label boxed in red. In the IE browser it is slightly
misaligned compared to Firefox. Is there a setting or something to fix that?

    thanks,
    rodchar

It looks like it is because of the size of the button in IE. Try to
set height for the input controls and see if it helps.

That was it, it was the textbox height. Thanks for your time and efforts,
    rod.

    Upon further tinkering...

    http://www25.brinkster.com/rodchar/sm.htm

i noticed objects within a DIV in Firefox are top-aligned and the exact
opposite in IE. i tried using veritcal-align style and that didn't work.

Try either margin or padding or line-height
