VHDL Coding Guidelines

Discussion in 'VHDL' started by Francisco Camarero, Jul 8, 2003.

  1. Hello!

For the VHDL Source Code we write, and focusing on
readability and verification, I am looking for open
    and public standards.

    Any recommendation?

    Thanks!

    Hi Francisco,
For VHDL coding guidelines try looking at the reuse methodology
manual it has a bunch of rules for readability, reuse, etc. Some are
    useful others are not.

The VHDL book by Ben Cohen has some useful tips also.
