    Hi,

In visual studio 2005 I create a website project, create a new aspx page
(web form), add a GridView (data populated from SQL 2000 db).

I would like the user to have the ability to change the value in a status
fields (values they can input should come from a preset list).

    Can anyone help ?

Thanks for your time and sorry if this is the wrong group.

i enabled EDIT on the grid view but made sure only the STATUS field can be
    edited.

So now i can select EDIT and populated this field only. How can i make sure
the user has a "pull down" menu of options to populate this field ?

    thanks
    Scott
