VS.NET 2005 Copy Web FTP command via proxy server

Has anyone been successful in getting the new Copy Web command in
VS.NET 2005 to see the destination FTP server by somehow specifying a
proxy server/firewall. I can connect to the dest. website fine with
WS_FTP because it lets me specify a firewall it should connect through.
It appears as though the Copy Web command cannot work through a
firewall.

I have tried using the Internet Options applet and the proxycfg.exe
utility in various combinations to get VS.NET to use the firewall but
with no success.
