Web User Control - positioning on the page

Hi asp experts.

Maybe I am doing something not right but I can't place my Web User Control
at desired position on page. My UC is a simple panel with some textboxes and buttons.
When I drag that control on the content placeholder or other page everything
inside UC just falls apart and goes out of panel. Subcontrols are in wrong places.
Why?? What should be done there (VS2005) ? Help.
