webservice.htc???

Greetings,

Just wondering about why the link to webservice.htc has been
archived?? Is there a replacement or just discontinued??

It hasn't technically been discontinued, its simply no longer a supported
product. It has been archived as its not being extended beyond its current
functionality but iot is still provided as the SOAP functionality it makes
use of still exists in IE browsers.
