webservice timeout

Discussion in 'ASP .Net Web Services' started by anabhra soni via .NET 247, May 15, 2005.

  1. Have you guys tried setting the Timout attribute on the webservice? I had the same problem: The webservice call would work fine but when called from an app, I got the operation timeout eror.

    So after you say
    Dim x as new mywebservice
    x.timeout = n

    for testing - set n to -1 which means that there is no timeout.
