Where is the microsoft.web section used in web.config documented?

Nice generic term has made it too difficult to finmd using web search. This
microsoft.web section is required to use Atlas. I need to read the
documentation... Comments?

I think you'll be lucky to find anything over the install docs and general
documentation at http://atlas.asp.net/docs/atlas/doc/, and few references to
the sectionGroup attribute for <microsoft.net> in technet. Might help if
you've not seen them, but I doubt its what your after. Each section (like
profile data entries) is however described in brief in the docs, and I
expect thats all there is publically published.

I would suggest dropping a blog post to Scott Guthrie via his blog site blog
asking if there is any, or to Nikhil Kothari's blog. Perhaps drop into the
atlas forum at www.asp.net and ask there.

I really don't appreciate the forked documentation shenanigans. I'll look
some more using asp.net but I rely on and prefer using MSDN. I rarely
remember to try searching TechNet so thanks for bringing it up.

I will stop by Gu's place.

Yea okay thanks but the "official" documentation is supposed to be at MSDN.
Forums and blogs are not well suited for documentation. I'm getting really
tired of the way two groups and their respective sub-groups have forked the
entire development platform. You've already heard me go off on them about
the way the weenies working the asp.net site are pissing away all the work
that went into arguing a coding convention for C# which has overwhelmingly
been adopted and implemented at MSDN where the rest of us foot soldiers went
to boot camp.
