Why Are sring.assign & string.replace Behaving Abnormally?

I have a hard time with BC5 using

"assign" and "replace"

in C++.
Sometimes they work, and other times they do not,
although I use the same arguments and the same "include"-files.
Does some file containing them become corrupt?

Yes. Line 117 in the third file from your left is the culprit.
