Windows custom control in browser

Hi

I have created a custom windows control, compiled it into
dll and i am using it in an aspx page by using the
<object> tag. The control has 1 property and 1 method. In
the aspx page i am writing javascript which sets the
controls property value. Its sets it correctly as i am
able to display it using alert. But when i am calling the
method in the control it is throwing javascript
error "object doesn't support method or property".
Can someone help me out.
