y cannot create new project?

Hi All,
I have error msg when trying to create web page project.
the error as below:
vs.net 2003 has detected that the specified web server is not running
ASP.NET 1.1. You will be unable to run asp.net applications / services.

How to solve the above problem?
your help will be appreciated..

Daniel,

Open the Visual Studio.Net command prompt (not the normal command prompt)
and run: aspnet_regiis -r

That will only update the scriptmaps.

To fully re-register ASP.NET, please use :

aspnet_regiis -i

Hi Justin,
another error prompt up again as below:
the web server reported the following error when attempting to create /
open the web project located atthe following
URL:"http://localhost/webapplication1. ' A connection with the web server
could not be establish.'

any ideas?
