yahoo briefcase and hosting website images

I have purchased the premium storage for the yahoo briefcase,
supposably enabling a public access to my files. I have set up a
folder and clicked it for public access.

I am trying to put a html link on a website to these files/images, but
the link is OK for a while, then is changed somehow by yahoo.

how can this be considered public access it the the url keeps
changing, or am I making the link incorrectly.

anyone have this problem, or know what I am doing wrong, or have a
solution????

thanks

Yahoo likes to create random URLs - huge, long, nonsensical URLs that
some people try using, after copying them out the address bar in their
browser, for linking with.

What you need to do is use the static URL - more of a straight line to
the files wanted for linking without the gibberish. More along the
lines of:

http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/membername/foldername/filename.jpg

I tried that, but I get error messages from yahoo when I even try to
enter in my static url
http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/jldsallthat/olympicsoccerclub/visionstatement.pdf

that is what I am trying to call up, and it is suppose to be shared
publicly!!

I double checked my spelling and actual name of files.

any help?
