I have been trying to figure out why some files generated by ASP.NET get
placed in the location defined by: tempDirectory in the machine.config (which
is desirable).
While other times it seems that temp file (.cs, .cmdline) get placed in
c:\documents and settings\<machine name>\aspnet\localsetting\temp\<GUID>.
Why can I override the location of using the machince.config (tempDirectory)
but yet under certain conditions, temp files are created on the C: path
mentioned above?
Bottom line is I would like to control the location of all files and put
them on D:.
