Cancel Speech Recognition

Speech Recognition has really been slowing down my laptop (I have Windows
Vista), so I was wondering if anyone can pleeeaaaasssee explain to me how to
stop it from automatically opening when I turn on my computer. The computer
freezes for about 30 seconds each time that Speech Recognition tries to
automatically open when I turn on my computer.

right click on the speech recogition window ( the one that opens
automatically) , choose 'options' and then uncheck 'run on start-up'.
