controls in reapter

I read the article on how to nest controls in a reapter

My question is can I build the control, then put it in the reapter, then
bind data to it? I have the control type value in a database, so I know what
I need to build. In the article sample, then control is hardcoded in the
reapter. I want to know if I can build dynamically, then put into reapter,
then bind the name to the control?
