Create a shared folder on a remote machine

I am trying to write a program to automatically deploy an asp.net app on a
remote iis machine from a pure c# program that does not involve invocation of
scripts.

The way I want to do this is by creating a shared folder on the remote
machine example \\remotemachine\d$\deploymentpath, and copying the contents
from my local fodler to this one. This is the step that is posing a roadblock.

Is there any way to do this prgrammatically without any scripting?
