CreateUserWizard with no username

happy new year all,

I am using the CreateUserWizard with a custom provider. all worked gr8 when
i had matching columns (username, all the way to password).

we have a change in direction here and are now going to USE EMAIL AS THE
UNIQUE KEY and eliminate username.

any thoughts on customizing this or does this remove CreateUserWizard from
the picture?
