Custom Component

I'm trying to create a component that you can place on the WebForm designer
that causes the designer to split, just like the "Timer" component in the
"Components" tab. I'm inheriting from the "Component" class but that
doesn't seem to make a difference. Theres obviously a lot I'm missing here
but I can't easily locate documentation on this subject anywhere, probly
don't know what to look for...

Any ideas?

Well, it seems that I was doing the right things already. I just created a
new Component from the template in add new files. It wouldn't work. After
restarting my machine and dropping the component on the form again it seemed
to work.
