Defer code not working for image embedded from Google drive

I have embedded an image in my blog post from google drive and want to defer the same to improve my page speed, image is in webP format but it's is not coded in embed code. Moreover image is not getting defer. I have already added async and defer codes in my blog html. Someone may help me to solve the issue.

Google drive has offered an official feature to create an embedded link
1) Open the preview page of the public image,
2) Click the 3 dots icon on the top-right then "Open in new window",
3) Click the 3 dots icon again in the new window, then "Embed item"
