Displaying PDF files using servlets

I am trying to display a pdf file using a JSP. The problem is that it
displays the files that have the content type set to text/plain but
do not opens the files that have the content type application/*. I
mean it can be a pdf/msword.


Any hints as to what is wrong. I am running this on WAS server.

Do you mean 'application/pdf'?

I mean it can be a pdf/msword.

I do not know what that means. I do not think
there is any content type of 'pdf/msword'.
