enableviewstate problem

Hi,

I am trying to set the enableviewstate property to false
for my textbox. But it does not seem to work and the text
that I entered previously keeps showing up again when I
would like the textbox to be empty after the page has been
submitted. Is there something else that could be causing
this problem? How do I work around this? Any help would
be great.
