Hello:
I have an issue with a web site that I can not figure out. And this app can
not go into production until this issue is resolved. I hope someone knows
what the issue might be. Here it is:
I have a web application running on IIS6 that has a login page asking for
user ID and password. The site is configured for "Integrated Windows
Authentication". When I click on the "log on" buttion in the login page, it
logs me in since it is using integrated windows authentication without typing
in my credentials. However, if I type in my username (windows AD ID) and
password explicitly, I get an error message saying my password is incorrect.
What's interesting is that after I recycle the application pool for the
site, I will be able to login either by typing in my credentials or simply by
clicking the "log on" button.
Thank-you!!
