Hi All,
I have written an quick prototype to extract frames from a media file, using
the java media api. I am trying to track an object in the video sequence,
and it only appears on 4-5 frames. I have been told, that I can extract the
60 fields that are interlaced to form the 30 frames/sec.
Firstly is this possible with a simple java api media class? If not, does
anybody know an algorithm and/or implementation to achieve this? I know
there are industrial applications to do this, but I really want to build my
own.
