GridView with editable Checkbox column

Hi all,
I do have a scenario, in which we are in need to show a list of
webparts in one column and the other has the checkbox column, its like
an admin providing privileges to the webPart. The checkbox column
should be editable with out adding the command column. is that pasible.
if possible could anyone assist me to proceed further.
