Hashing Passwords

Using the HashPasswordForStoringInConfigFile method, does this create hashed
passwords that are strong enough or is it better to use the necryption
namespace and its related functions?

HPFSICF gens the same MD5 or SHA1 hash that you would get from calling into
those APIs from the System.Security namespace.
