how to reference a shared assembly from the GAC ?

well that might sound a silly question. I've added a class library
project to the global assembly cache. now i want to use this shared
assembly in my application.
how can i reference it ?
do i reference like a any other dll, or is there another way?

Sort of, yes. You might not be able to directly reference the copy in
the GAC, so keep a copy of the assembly in some other folder as well.
