Javascript doesn't work across proxy

Sorry if this isn't exactly the right NG for this, but I thought you
guys would know better than anyone else.

I have 2 computers networked. The internet connection is dial-up, and
I'm using ezProxy to share the connection. Both computers are Win98,
and both have IE6.0.

The main PC works perfectly, but the second PC's browser doesn't
recognize Javascript at all! I've gone through every setting
imaginable, and haven't found any reference to Javascript that was
incorrect.

Anybody have an ideas?

TIA,

Mike

Grab a copy of wfetch:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];284285

and see if the JavaScript code actually comes through the browser. If
so, then it's a browser issue on the 2nd PC (check Tools--Internet
Options--Security--Custom Level, make sure Active Scripting is
enabled). If it doesn't come through, then it's an issue with ezProxy.
I doubt this-- I couldn't find anything about ezProxy filtering
JavaScript, but I could be wrong.
