Hi

I am using a LoginStatus control to log users out of the web
application. I have a question and an issue:

Question:
Does this clear all session level variables for the user who logs out.

Issue:
The logoutaction is to take the user back to the login page. The hitch
is that when I press the navigate back it gives me the page that was
rendered before the page where this control sits. In other word if
login page is A then we go to page B and then to C from where we log
out. We end up on page A as a result of the logoutaction. But if you
click on "Back" (I am using internet explorer) you end up on page B.

How can i remedy this? Looks like page B is catched and rendered from
there rather than the server.

You are looking for the FormsAuthentication.RedirectToLoginPage() which
will redirect someone that has just been logged out.

Here is an example of msdn of using SignOut() and
RedirectToLoginPage():
