switching <%@ Control from CodeBehind to Src

On my ascx <%@ Control tag, I need to switch this "CodeBehind=OpenClose.ascx.vb" to "Src=OpenClose.ascx.vb" and when I do I get error messages informing me Checkbox(es) are undefind.

I've deleted the DLL's from the BIN folder, and did a Build to no avail.

Has anyone else came upon this before? And if so, what was your solution?
