Hi, I usually try to fix MySQL issues on my own like restoring from the backup, using mysqlfrm to get the table structure, or importing the tablespace if I have the .ibd file. These methods can work, but not always according my experience especially if the files are badly damaged.

Once, I was stuck with a corrupted database and none of the manual methods helped. That’s when I tried the Stellar Repair for MySQL. I just added the .frm and .ibd files, and it brought back all my tables, triggers, views and other data. What I liked was I didn’t need MySQL running, and it worked fine even on another system.

So, if nothing else works and you don’t want to waste more time, a tool like this can really help. Just make sure to check the recovered data before using it in production.
