Yet another CS0016

Hello,

I have a fairly new install of Windows XP Pro SP1 with current patches (not
SP2 as it is not certified for our network yet) with a local IIS server on
the same machine. I have Visual Studio 2003 installed.

I am trying to create a few simple web apps just to verify the ASP.NET
install and with each one, I am having an issue with the Compiler Error
message "CS0016: Could not write to output file
c:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\v1.1.4322\Temporary ASP.NET\<blah>.dll -- 'Access is
denied'. " error.

I have checked the permissions on the Temporary ASP.NET directory - id's
ASPNET, LOCAL SERVICE, NETWORK SERVICE, SYSTEM, and my id all have full
permissions to this directory. Changing the permissions to full permissions
for everyone did not change the occurrance of the error.

I also tried halting the webserver and running ASPNET_IISREG.exe to no avail.

Does anyone have any other ideas of things to try on this system to allow
ASP.NET apps to run?

THanks in advance!!
