I am getting the following message:
Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is
currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web
browser to retry your request.
Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this
specific request failure can be found in the application event log of
the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused
this error to occur.
My host recently installed asp.net 2.0 on my server.ever since they
installed the .net 20 package, I have been receiving the error
mentioned above. I have asked then to set the asp.net tab to 2.0 for
the specifed application and still I get the error. I have installed
everything on my personal computer and have been trying to reproduce
this error with no luck.
further more, I have read that this is a known issue for asp.net 2.0
and that sometimes the root application MUST be in 2.0 so that child
applications can be in 1.1 or 2.0.
my current root application is in 1.1 but I need to have my child to be
2.0.
we have tryedt o re install the framework with no luck. does anyone
know how I could fix this ?
