Character encoding problem?

Discussion in 'ASP .Net' started by =?Utf-8?B?VGhvbWFzIEthcmxzc29u?=, Feb 2, 2004.

  1. Hello

    I've got problems assigning a textbox.text to a string field in a ado recordset. Some characters are converted to a "unknown" value, causing the application to crash

    Characters not recognized is characters not in the swedish character set

    Any suggestions appreciated

    web.config
    <globalizatio
    requestEncoding="ISO-8859-1
    responseEncoding="ISO-8859-1
    />
