Colour in DropDownLists

Does anyone know how to change the colour of individual items in a DropDownList
webcontrol?

I am converting from .asp where it was simple; but how do I do it with an
<aspropDownList> control that I fill in dynamically from a database?

You can't.
there are some 3rd party contros that can do that.
