Discussion in 'XML' started by Gerard Oberle, Jul 9, 2003.

  1. Is it possible to place a comment WITHIN a tag? For example,

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
    <!DOCTYPE top>
    <top>
    <something first="1" !-- 1 is the first attribute --
    last="100" !-- and 100 is the last --
    else="none"/>
    </top>

    Obviously, the XML here is contrived.

    Thanks in advance!

    - Jerry Oberle
    perl -e 'printf "%s%s%s%cGerard.%s%cchase%ccom%c", "ma", "il", "to",
    58, "Oberle", 64, 46, 10;'
