We're running an large scale asp.net application with network load balancing
and 8 web servers (w2003). State server is an stand alone SQL server.
There is high load on the servers but everything works ok for the most of
the time. But 1-2 times a day there is some problems for one web server to
finish requests (different server all the time), and there is around 200
current request on that web server - and these request does not finish, even
given time to finish and the web server is removed from the web cluster. The
same page will normally finish in 0-2 seconds, but when this happens all
pages will not finish.
It seems like the problem is not in the code, as the pages in current
request is all kind of pages, and different ones each time.
The application is working against 5-6 mysql servers on the back end.
Any ideas ?
