Database design issue

hi
Use XML as the native data file format for database is not good, because:
1) Anybody can edit it easily
2) performance will not better than you completely design your own one.

If any objection , please tell.

thanks

Why would I object?

How about if you make your own and measure the difference.

Measured, conclusion : XML is not a good choice to be a native file
storage format for database.
