DataGrid - Windows forms and row access

I am trying to do something that would appear to be pretty straightforward -
bind a dataset to a datagrid, and then use the selection of a row (double
click) to spawn a detail window. The issue that I am running into is how to
get the primary key from either the dataset or the grid (and I am trying to
access it by name, or index).

I've tried getting the information from the dataset, but there is no
relationship between the data in the grid and the data in the dataset after
the bind (after a sort of the grid), and I cannot seem to get any
information from the grid itself.
