DataList Cell text

Can some 1 plz tell me how to retrieve the text from the cell of DataList ??

Are you trying to do that on the server side or client side (javascript)? Is
that cell, whose text value you want to find, placed within an
<EditItemTemplate> where there is another control that triggered a postback?
